IN THE MOOD FOR ART?
On every third Thursday of the month, Merano arte offers a guided tour of the current exhibitions for adults, including a conversation with experts. The dialogue will make visitors familiar with the exhibitions. The objective is not simply to explain and introduce the exhibitions, but also reflect it together. Hannes Egger will host the conversation.

Outreach Program for Schools
During the exhibition “Cindy Sherman. That's me – That's not me. Early works 1975-1977 from SAMMLUNG VERBUND”, Merano arte will offer a 90 minutes workshop on self portraits and the 50 minutes dialogue-based tour “Who I am?” Both events will be hosted by Hannes Egger. Thanks to the support of Dr. Schär, the 2013 workshops and guided tours can be offered at a price of only € 2.00 per student.
Self portrait
The workshop will deal with the phenomenon of self presentation and disguise and be tailored to suit the age of the participants. Following a guided tour of the exhibition, the students will actively deal with its core contents. In small groups, they will dress up and present themselves to the cameras.
Target group: Primary school, junior high school, and high school students
Duration: 90 minutes
Participation fee: € 2 per student (2 escorts free)

Who am I?
The guided tour will start with a workshop on self-presentation. The students will be asked to think about their self image and the way they are seen by others, so they can understand the core message of the exhibition.
